Yesterday's Condo

Shadow is not eating very enthusiastically lately. He takes a few bites after awhile and then walks away. He pulled that last night at +4 so I put a teaspoon of HC gravy on top and he ate some of that. He is grooming now, my little purring boy and is starting at a nice blue this morning.. My alarm for +9 malfunctioned somehow, but I was really half asleep when I set that at 3 am. +7. I hate when that happens.
Hope the kitties are ready for the fll_moon party tomorrow. Decorating at our place tonight if anyone is available! Green is the color scheme and Raja has asked that everyone be waring green no matter what their BGs are. Everything will be green tomorrow to celebrate the Full Green Corn Moon of August!

wow, what a great run of blue last night, and right into this morning too! Mocha is looking forward to the party tomorrow night, and she would be glad to come by and help decorate!

Hi Pat! Nice to see a blue kitty this morning. I really don't like it much when my guy pulls that food thing - and then one goes through all these cans looking for "the one". Perhaps Shadow just needs less? oooo - maybe you need that magic chicken dust. :-D have a great day today - and I hope Shadow can keep on his blue board, maybe even find the greens too.

Mannie and Stu are working feverishly to get a menu put together for the New Moon party. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

Every time I see all your overnight numbers, I want to yawn. It has been a long time since you've slept a full night... Like maybe a YEAR? I hope you do get to make up for the lack of sleep during the day.

I mixed some Evo 95% an some Wellness chicken and he walked away. I followed him with the bowl to which I had added some freeze-dried chicken and he managed to eat some.
CD...it's been since last Nov that I had that +8 put in there...I now do a +7 instead. Plus, any other hours in there that the +4 or the +7 indicate would be prudent to have. Last night I goofed with the alarm so i didn't get his +9 which makes me very sad.
I just had a 2 hour nap this morning. Feeling dopier than usual right now as I have my first ~O)
The other night I got up to turn off the alarm and in the dark, I got disoriented and went crashing into the cat condo. What a nice bruise I have on my shin bone now. Ouch! I usually bounce off the walls as I walk down the hallway...I am seriously worried about myself!
I am a mess. I vaguely remember eating the remains of an ice cream container as I waited for Shadow to eat something.. And some cherries. I was wishing for an apple pie or something like that but no luck.
I have ridiculous dreams when I nap too so I am laughing at what I was just dreaming this morning!! Strangely, it's a lingering memory!
It's pouring rain here now and I really feel like sleeping again!! :lol:

Good Morning Pat. What a nice blue morning number :smile: I would love the chance to have to get up all night long to check on my kitty. Really don't need nightime spot checks for that nasty pink *sigh*
I totally understand the frustration of him not wanting to eat. Everything bores Checkers.

I was just reading a thread on Health about that. I don't even have access to some of the recommended foods.

Fresh mouse....ewwwww. :lol:

Looking good in the blue, Mr. Shadow! Sorry about the eating situation. I can imagine that would be so frustrating!

Johnny wants to come help with the decorating! I can't wait to see everyone in their green outfits. Group picture!

You're a good mama bean Pat, getting up at all hours to test, and getting beat up in the process! I hope Shadow appreciates all your efforts on his behalf. I know he was just holding out for the chicken dust on his food, spoiled boy that he is! (I already made a note to myself to never start putting chicken dust on food!) I hope he starts eating a little better for you, maybe he is just hoping you will up the ante and give him something even better than chicken dust!! ;-)

Well I don't know what would be better than chicken dust for them! They are SO spoiled I guess. i have to make a food run right now. I am at the end of my reserves completely and totally!

Guess this dose isn't wasting much time in kicking in. I am trying to hard to keep him in the surfing range...he loves to dive and I am hoping he will forget about the scuba gear for awhile. Please Shadow...just surf boy, okay?

Well, I dont' know what could be better than chicken dust either, but obviously Shadow has great faith that you will be able to find something even better to entice him with! :lol: It's so nice to see him surfing the greens like this, you've been working so hard to get him there...go Pat!!

He hasn't been fond of baby food either...can you imagine that? :o But I have my trusty syringe and have been known to shoot back some gravy if he won't cooperate. That doesn't scare me anymore but wow...the first time he just stared at the food I almost fainted!

So, I see you're trying out your green outfit for tomorrow night...COOL!! You get that chicken dust??? Man, my sister, Ali gets that on her food too. She's spoiled...just this morning, mums gave her some 2% milk instead of her usual half and half and she turned up her nose...and mumz gave her what she wanted, jeez!! Well, gotta run! Shadow had some nice numbers today. I guess our boys are liking their dosecreases. I sure wish Shadow would eat for you, though. I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions that you haven't already heard.

I refilled my stock of Wellness chicken. And I bought some Merrick higher carb varieties that we have never had before. WE. Ha. WE have never had them....listen to me!!!
...I am not a crazy cat lady...no...who are you calling a lady??? I ain't no lady...LOLOLOL

So Shadow had some Wellness chicken with a spoonful of the Wellness Core on top. Just in case. He ate anyway so that is good. He did okay during the day too and that is also good. I am going to make my Feline Future mixture right now...although I really don't feel like it. They seem to like it mixed in with some canned stuff.
Very happy with the boy's numbers today. He is tired out from all that surfing with Mannie.
I am trying to tell him that the diving isn't really such a great idea...surfing is better.
Hope everyone has a nice quiet night tonight....hoping all our kitties will be well...special get well vines to Do Lou... :YMHUG:
 
Blues and greens for Shadow, what nice colors to come home to. He may just make his sister happy and really be wearing green tomorrow anti-jinx[/i].
