Meadow at dry food at +11 = 156. I tested at +12 and BG was still 156. Should I shoot? And how much? She is eating Wellness Core dry food now.

I'd be inclined to suggest 15u but I'd be much more comfortable if you could hold on a bit to see if Libby stops by. She's been following Meadow more closely and is more knowledgeable about acro kitties than I am.

are you home tonight to monitor?
This is kind of a gut feeling, but Meadow was doing well on 16.5, and you've shot 160's on that dose. Maybe that's a better dose for her right now than 18 (or you could try a little less, like 16). Try to pick a dose and hold it, if you can.

one more question, I know she's not eating wet food, would she eat high carb wet if you had to use it to steer her numbers? Or can you syringe the gravy if needed? I don't want to be stuck trying to bring up a number and not being able to use our tools.

Libby- I'm pretty sure she will not eat the canned HC food. She might eat a few bites but not much more. I think I'll shoot 16. I'm going to test her again right now to see if the BG has gone up any. Let you know shortly.
Update: BG was 217 @+1.5. Shot 16. She's still nibbling, so I'm sure it will be ok. I'll check again before bed.

I do wonder whether it would be worth trying to re-transition Meadow back to canned food. Maybe adding a little canned to the Core as a first step? Have you thought about raw? No grain or by-products so no bad stuff that makes Meadow do her exorcist impression.
