Yesterday's Condo

Morning everyone! Happy Monday! ~O)
A yellow start to Shadow's day! We started the day with a deposit in the LB and a nice breffis. My hope today is that his pancreas will start to wake up and that the new dose will start to work a little. Little being the key word of course! God boy Liver, back off...
Raja has not yet eaten and I am hoping that she isn't relating the Clavamox to the intake of food. We shall see. She is in her cube and is not coming out!
At least I know where to find her!
Hope you all have a wonderful day! My two are waiting to get to Trey's OTJ party and hope they will see Moonie and all their friends there too...

Sunny yellow is MUCH better to start the day. Maybe MJ's stomping smiley did help cheer on the pancreas to start smooshing the reds.

I hope Raja's tummy is feeling ok. Maybe she just loves her cubes so much that's she too comfy to get out for breakfast?

Good luck today sweet Shadow, you have a good start, now time for some blues.

Raja's food was eaten when i got home after running an errand. I thought it was Shadow...but I just fed them now and she ate. I gave her the ABs...she did try to hide after eating so that confirms my suspicion. Gee, it's so nice to see a blue for a change! :-D

Hmmm, so Shadow made it to blue today! Hooray!! He and Buzz can surf together for awhile before the gathering at Stu's and Trey's party tonight. I'm gonna stop by the ledge and tidy up, since I'll be up there tomorrow (1 year on insulin), and it sounds like Miriam might need to avail herself of all the ledge has to offer, as well. So come on up if you need to! :-D

I gave him Merrick Turducken whatever (9%)....he never had that before. Well, mixed with Wellness chicken and some Fortiflora and of course the chicken dust on top...he ate a little of it but then came the rains! Off to the closet he went! I am hoping he brings himself up for PS tonight....

Shad-0, You're GREEN!!! Way to go, man! I like Turducken, but I only get it when I need to get my numbers up (or prevent them from going too far down). I guess that's why you're getting it. See you soon at my place for a little R&R, and then we'll all go to Trey's party. Please tell Raja to get out of her cube. We need her in the kitchen tonight!!

I was suddenly wondering if we are now considered "long timers"?
That would mean that <40 becomes our new number...Shadow is one year on insulin as of Aug 5th,Sept 16th we started Lev. I just hit me that I don't know what constitutes a long-term diabetic.

That is just so much more like it! Blues and greens are far more pleasant colors.

I think a "newly diagnosed diabetic" is one whose dx is <6 months, but I could be wrong. And perhaps there are caveats for switching insulins, as well, although you're past the 6-month mark on both counts, I guess.
