Yesterday's Condo

Cuddles and headbutts this morning before we got out of bed! I love starting my day when Gabby is being affectionate! So far, it's a quiet morning on the kitty front.

OT: For much of last night, the film crew was busy moving the fake debris probably up to Michigan Ave. where they will be filming today. All sorts of streets are closed. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with what will be a traffic nightmare.

Happy Friday! omg - I have to comment on the film thing... when we were in Chicago last they were filming the Batman movie... We had gone for Pizza that night, and the security people would not let us out of the restaurant for who knows how long, because they were doing the helicopter scene, and wanted no pedestrians or cars or anything on the streets. At least we were stuck in a restaurant! What a mess traffic was that night..... I hope you guys fair better today.

mid yellow ... gabby could do exciting things today! I'm also glad you don't have to deal with a traffic nightmare .. I absolutely HATE driving .. with a passion ... and if there's traffic? Oh boy ....

No surprise that Gabby's numbers have been dropping since +9 -- I was getting followed to the kitchen with pathetic "meows," cuddled with, stared at, and generally being told by Gabby that she was starving.

It's been a hard day in Lantus Land. My kitties have been especially affectionate today - I think they know how sad I am. Give all of your kitties a little extra love and scritches. We are privileged to have them be a part of our lives for no matter how long they are with us.

Fly free Jake and Cosmo. And snowflakes and healing vines for all of the kitties here that are in need of them.

Thanks for the nice post Cheryl. Yes, it is a sad day in LL. I am so thankful for this Board and all the wonderful Beans here. I count my blessings everyday for all the kitties whose lives have been saved or extended because of the power of this Board.

Amen. Sienne, your words for so thoughtful & sweet. It has indeed been a kleenex day in LL. Your stories helped to perk us up a little & we are happy for that blue PMPS!

Thanks for this post, Sienne. It's great to be reminded of how precious our babies are and not to take a day for granted.

Gabby is looking great tonight! Hope she surfs instead of diving.

Krys -- I'm not sure Gabby would be looking for a cameo unless they could film from a distance when she's sitting in the window!! Let's just say she's not a people person.

And Ronnie - my 16 month old kitten weighs as least as much as Gabby and is taller. I'm really not kidding when I say that Gizmo tackles Gabby -- it's often a flying tackle with both cats going for a tumble! On the other hand, there are lots of headbutts and mutual face washing. I think that Gabby begrudgingly loves Gizmo. On the other hand, Gizmo adores Gabby.

Thanks, Sienne, for saying so well what all of us feel. We are indeed lucky for every day we have with our kitties. You and your kitties have a good night. Looks like Gabby is going to surf the greens.
