What is going on!?!?!

This isn't funny, because I HAVE to go to work today. And the rest of this week. In fact, I have to leave in a few minutes.

I gave her the "9%" FF medleys that bump her up. There is other LC food out and in 2 hrs, one of the autofeeder compartments should give her a mix of LC and the 9% stuff. I also have some LC set to open up around +8.5 - but I'd be surprised if she tries it.

How long does it take for the shed to deplete to the current dose or whatever? This is her 2nd cycle on the low dose (.1 u). I can't imagine it's time to decrease any more...

I'm going to have a talk with her about being competitive. There is NO point trying to race Maggie at this point... It's a marathon, not a sprint and all that...

Ok - I'm going to test in a couple minutes, hopefully she'll be bumped up and I will be leaving then.

Finally - someone understands! It's not coffee or chocolate that would comfort me now - but that yummy mint chocolate chip ice cream might take the edge off a little... Just a little.

52 @ +2. I gave her another tsp of the "9%" to bump her up, mixed some more in with some Wellness and she's eating that now.

Gotta go to tbp now...

Oh gosh; I hope the FF Medleys bump her up. Catch up later; how about some Rubio's fish tacos and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Hope you feel better.

I hope Kasha has a good day today and the food helps bump it up a bit. I know how scary it is to have the BG at a low number but have to be somewhere else like work!!

Well, I'm presuming you shot 0.1u not 1.00u this morning! Hopefully, Kasha's shed is draining. However, I would like a few others to take a look. A 48 this early means business.

Oh, and I'd like to fix you up with one or two of my "friends" - Ben & Jerry. They are steadfast and provide all sorts of comfort and in a lot of different flavors!

Oh - do you think it was the 1.00 unit that did it?

LOL - not sure how that happened - of course it was .1u - not 1.0! I tried to correct the SS on my phone since I'm now blocked from it on my work PC. Hopefully that worked...

I was SHOCKED to see the 48 this morning... I bet you can imagine. I was braced to see her go higher - not drop to dosecrease numbers! Do you think it's the shed draining (how much shed could she have - these are such tiny doses!)? Could it somehow be affected by the antibiotics she managed to keep down 2 out of the last 3 days? She's still having sneezing fits, but she ate a good breakfast this morning and had her +9 snack earlier.

I don't know what's going on... It was so cute this morning - I came to find her with the syringe and she was drinking water. She shot away really fast and flew over to her bed, all wide-eyed, and assumed the shooting position... I can't believe she does this... She looks at me like "I don't want to be here, but here I am!" Lately, she even faces the direction I prefer so it's easier for me to shoot! What a cutie!

And I can't be sure, but this morning as I was leaving, I thought I heard her call out, "Hey Maggie, wait up!"... Now what could she mean by that?

There's a saying that I like "Good riddance to bad rubbish"

There are some people who think the world revolves around them. It's ALL about THEM! Unless you want to be revolving around them it's best to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again. At least you found out the truth now...better now than later on. Know what I mean? SO, give him a dose of a fat zero and be on your way!
Can you measure that for him? He deserves less actually...less than a fat zero!
Hope you have a good day...just pretend that you are doing okay..that works...

HUGS to you and Kasha she is just doing so great with her numbers but I sure understand the fear of low numbers/going to work had to do that with Do Lou one time

Nothing is really phasing me today. I assume this is a bounce from her low numbers and quick drop this morning. I'm sure it wasn't helped by the little bits of MC I left out for her. And the fact that no one touched the +8.5 snack. So... there is is. Deal with it.

Something nice happened to me today (besides all of you who visited our condo today). Guy at work that I recently started chatting with on IM (when I'm bored at work) stopped by and brought me one of those silly bandz that all the kids are collecting now (they are little rubber band type things shaped like animals or people or various shapes). He stopped by and gave me one shaped like a cat. Because I'm easily impressed by anything even remotely thoughtful, I think that's sweet. He's totally not an animal person but he knows I am and his kids collect them and he thought of me. At least someone thought of me this weekend! And... if I look at it just the right way and imagine that the tail is hidden - it's a 3-legged cat, which we all know are now near and dear to my heart...

That was nice; sometimes just a kind gesture can make all the difference on a not so good day. Kasha now come on down. Maggie wants you to catch up if she's going to you know what... did you get some ice cream or pizza?

It's so nice when someone does a kind gesture especially when you're feeling down.

Kasha's bounce isn't too bad, I'm sure she'll clear it soon.

I just got home after getting an ice cream cone!

I put the silly band-thing on Blue to take the pic (hence the white fur). This guy's asked me to lunch a couple times and I never knew what to tell him - guess there's nothing keeping me from taking him up on that now...

Kasha is certainly keeping you on your toes! Happy belated birthday to Tigger. How wonderful that he is living to a ripe old age!

Can you believe it? 73 @ +3... On a tiny little droplet of insulin? My vet (not the one I'm working with now for Kasha, but the other one in the practice that was my main vet until this year) would say the amount of insulin I'm giving is 'ridiculous'. He thought .25 u was ridiculous. I tried to show my mom how little insulin Kasha is getting and she totally couldn't see the tiny, tiny barely-there bit of light before the 0 line... Wow...

Aww, I love the little 3 legged kitty bandz. It is nice that your friend at work knew you liked animals even if he isn't an animal person... he appreciates that YOU are.

And to your vet.... Yup, every little ridiculous drop of insulin is quite powerful. Awesome day for Kasha!
