Blackie hit 43 last night! But today he's on a quick (hopefully) trip to RBC. Our big excitement yesterday was that as Robert (DH) was letting Blackie outside at dusk, we saw a bear down by the river. He was moving fast and headed to the neighbors field. Blackie did not go out after seeing that. :mrgreen:

WCR: Blackie is feeling fine. He's had 2 installments of breffis, laid out in the grass in the yard and is now btb.

Ah - nothing like a bear to shake things up a bit... I ran into one of those while hiking once - mom and her two cubs :shock: joke of it was - we all stood there and out came the cameras ohmygod_smile and what idiots we were... but we got our bear photo. Blackie seems a tad bit smarter than we were...

Nice night last night for Blackie - it was great to see that when I was visiting condos last night. I hope that this mornings rbc trip is short lived, and back to better numbers soon. Mannie is so excited about the party, and hopes Blackie will be there soon.

I hope Blackie clears his rebound tonight; after all, you DO have to go to work tomorrow, so what better night to stay up late testing? :lol: Fridays to ruin your social life and Sundays to make you sleepy on Mondays. He's got it all figured out.

A BEAR!!! Coyotes, and bears, and rivers, OH MY. I don't blame Blackie for staying inside. What kind of bear was it?

It was a black bear. I don't remember seeing them or hearing about them being down in the valley where we live this early in the summer. They come down if their food supply in the mountains is short like in drought years and they like to come down and eat the peaches in the orchards around here. I hope he goes back to the mountains so he'll be safe.
