Yesterday's Condo

Morning LL ~O) Off to a new start of a new day. Everyone here is doing well. Still no playing for Shadow but all other Ps are accounted for. Watching him with the new dose but so far there have been no crazy drops.
Raja was on the testing towel this morning and didn't budge. I figured at first nailbite_smile "Oh NO!...."
but she has done this in the past and everything was okay. I got everything ready for an ear prick and she still didn't budge. I hate when she does this...anyway, whew...it was 70 at AMBG. She is now outside after very dramatically begging for me to open the door. (which included jumping right up to my monitor and almost knocking over my ~O) She is a real pest!

But I guess she deserves a little special treatment after the way she worked so hard at the party last night. She was busy~busy~busy with Stu in the kitchen and then danced the night away...at the end of the party, she grilled each kitty as to what they came with and what they are leaving with. I guess that added ceremony of getting rid of the Lost & Found items annoyed her so she made sure that each and every kitty remembered what they brought last night! She asked Logan to lecture Tuscany about taking it easy and keeping her foot elevated on the foot stool by her throne. He knows how Raja watched over him when he was not feeling well and he wanted to warn Tuscany to not cross her! Tuscany did take it slow and seemed to be quite happy relaxing!

There was an incident in the bathtub that involved Latte and Maui and I heard that it was Maui's fault but somehow they both ended up literally IN THE DRINK!! They ended up laughing a lot and were able to rinse out their clothes to get the niptini smell out before they left for home. It was only an accident and all is good now....but everyone learned their lesson about getting between Maui and her niptinis! :o

Shadow and his band of dark furred kitties made a great attempt at scaring everyone...however....they were huddled on the side and the giggling that went on from the group was a loud warning that something was about to happen. They were just so loud...the Irish whispers as they say..SHHHhhhhh....and then so much giggling....when they jumped out and yelled "BOOOoooo" the other kitties just rolled their eyes and went about their business. Sara and Tess pretended to be skeered and let out a few little screams of fright...Shadow as all proud of himself and all the dark furred kitties gave each other high fives for the longest time. So silly! Maui and Buzz got away from them as soon as they could...Mannie and Tom and Tray and Blackie and Spooky and Teddy...all so cute......l huddled in a mass of black fur and big eyes starring out! :lol: It was a funny sight to see!

Then, the candles were all lit all over the yard and Moonie & Shadow did a new dance for the group...the New Moon Dance...everyone was in awe as usual. The group dancing began after the delicious pizzas were devoured....what a great chef that Stu is!! Delicious!! Mannie was a big help in the kitchen and that little lost tabby helped him...
J.D set up a special table where he shared his bale of freshly picked catnip with everyone...Six, Socks and Buster helped him dole it out especially to Tugger who seemed to be always coming back for more! Maggie & Latte kept changing their dresses cause they weren't sure which one they wanted to wear while Vesta & Ellie put on the ones that were discarded!
Tori, Kasha and Chloe lead everyone in a sing-a-long during a break in the dancing...they were all in fine form! Alex was persuaded to do a solo...what a beautiful voice she has...everyone loved the singing! Luna & Bast did a lovely duet and then all the dark furred boy kitties did a few barbershop quartet songs that they had practiced as a surprise! They were so good! What a surprise!

Bear Man was at the bar in his usual seat and spent lots of time talking with each kitty that needed advice. They love to have his undivided attention and get insights into their issues. He always shares his words of wisdom. Max organized everyone's arrival and departure and was such a great help....he got everyone to help clean up by making it sound like a fun thing to do. :lol: The little lost tabby put on the cabana boy outfit and went home with Maui...what a night! I know I must have left some stuff out but I don't want to say too much. I am not supposed to know ANY of this, remember! Mum's the word...I was peeking and this is all I got to see and I am sharing it with you all in confidence!
Bet everyone will be taking cat naps today for sure!!! :lol:

I was anxiously waiting for the morning-after and all the gossip that went on overnite! :lol:
Beautiful AMBG Raja!!!

Hopefully Shadow will play a bit soon, maybe he's pooped out, ((((hugs major)))) for a wonderful condo yesterday - really brightened up our spirits!

Sounds like one heck of a party last night, sorry Spot missed it. Guess that's what happens when you are lounging around the falls all the time :-D I'm glad that everyone had a wonderful time!

Pat, this was so great to read - what an enjoyable post. Mannie had so many good things to say about the party. He is already to come an help with clean-up: him and Chloe, and the little lost tabby.

Good luck with the dosecrease - Mannie got one today too. Dance on sugar-babies!

Pat,

I was waiting too for the morning after report! I really look forward to this. Sounds like they had a blast. Sara is sleeping on her sleeping bag pretty tired out. He bg was up a little at am+4, she must have gotten into something on the way home. I'm going to have to have a talk with her if shes going to go out alone.

You really should write a book Pat. You'd be excellent at it. :-D

Best party story Yet!!!! Thanks for the great partay--All kitties had a wonderful time--Moonie is feeling great this am, thanks to our wonderful hosts-Pat, Shadow & Raja!! Everyone needs a nice time to feel good onnce in a while(I could use one myself)--

this was so great to read, I almost spilled my coffee all over the keyboard because I was laughing so hard!
Tray wants to say that the party was the best thing ever, and just what he needed, and it shows in his AMPS, finally out of the icky numbers.

Another great post-party wrap up, Pat! The boys are still sleeping it off, so they must have had a great time. I think you should seriously write a book about a kitty moon party!

Thank you for hosting the party and for writing such a great "secret" report of the party. Sounds like every single kittie had a wonderful time. Blackie says thanks to Shadow & Raja & Stu for all the food & niptinis. He's actually sleeping it off now.

My guess is that Maui demanded Latte's lunch money and Latte refused to pay. It's what she does here too, give her your lunch money or else...now we know what or else can be.

Sounds like everyone had a wonderful time and I am sorry that the lost tabby wasn't claimed, but he put on Maui's cabana boy uniform and hopefully he will work out and well work! Paws crossed on that one.

Buster is now napping in her postal box and Maui is resting on the back of the sofa.

However, I didn't see the wagon. Pat, might it have been left behind? I know it's a fun thing to play with and give kitties rides in, but we will need it returned, eventually. Maybe Raja can drop it off at Maui's condo when she returns to the Falls later today.

Thanks for hosting another great party and sharing the secrets. I will have to speak with Alphabean and find out why he's falling down on the job and not reporting.

Ok...Doodles is going to kick my bean butt ohmygod_smile another party missed :sad: and she was having a really good day and would have loved
to hang with all the kids!
For sure the next time...she really wanted to bring kitty sushi she makes a mean moth roll :lol:

Tess had a wonderful time at the party! her numbers are coming down today, it must have been just what she needed. We are going out for a while and Tess said she's heading back to help w/ the cleanup. Anything to get away from the ants!

Maui was on the phone with Raja INSISTING that she needed the red wagon to STAY here so she would have another excuse to come back to party! Hillary--it wasn't the lunch money with Latte...no Maui was really like a dog with a bone with poor Tess....and Tess finally gave her everything in her pockets! Used tissues and lint and everything...and Maui took it which make Tess really smirk with delight when it was over. Boy, she is really assertive, isn't she? :lol:
Latte was doling out the niptinis which were in the bathtub...someone thought that was a good idea...and Maui came in the room and somehow, there was jostling or someone was messing around and well, Maui was shoved and she fell onto Latte and they both ended up in the drink. It was pretty cold and Latte was upset at first but it was probably the shock of it all....she and Maui ended up laughing in the tub and then got out and cleaned up.... No more niptinis in the bathtub!

Shadow says we need more parties....his Pancreas kicked in...Hello Gorgeous!!!! :lol:

He is relaxing on the dresser in my bedroom for a change....has not been in this room for weeks.
I finally gave in to Raja and she has been out on the second story walkway the entire day. I let her go out without the darn gate since she gets free no matter what I do. She is so funny....every once in awhile she gets up and moves herself. One minute she is way down in front of the vacant DSIL's apartment, then she is in front of the next one down. Sometimes, she is under my next door neighbor's chairs.... I put her +8 snack out there and she came down to our door to eat. She really loves it out there. As long as she doesn't go downstairs and into the front of the building, I guess it's ok for her to be free. So far, she has just stayed upstairs.
I am remembering that she doesn't seem to like the a/c. Maybe that's it.

So, we are relaxing after the big party last night. There really isn't anything to clean up cause Max did such a great job of motivating everyone last night...but i think that they are all planning on coming back if they can to reminisce....and party again! :lol: They are all welcome of course!! The day after parties are always so much fun too!!

As long as nobody got hurt, niptini baths can be oh so fun. Although I know Maui doesn't like getting wet.

Regarding the wagon, well what can I say?

Glad everyone had fun and your two are now resting after the event.

What if you were to put a collar and leash on Raja, would that work for her and then you wouldn't have to worry as much since she would be limited on how far she can go.

It's interesting, Maui is the only one, that I can trust on my porch, without a leash or anything. My only concern is that I have ferals (Buster's mom actually) who uses my porch as her home and other ferals who come to eat and I don't want them up if Maui is out, which is why she only goes out with me out there.

Pat, Max wanted to say thanks for hosting another amazing party.
Seeing Shadow's numbers today I think there should be a party once a week.

I am so glad that Max made sure everyone helped in cleaning up.
I guess his mama taught him good manners.

Border patrol is getting used to these Canuk kitties crossing so they just
wave them on in.
He was pretty tired most of the day and kept me company.

And Hilary--your Maui is a great girl too....and very polite I must add too. She is a ball of fire though...very spirited but everyone knows it's all in good fun. She is quite a character...keeps everyone laughing all the time. She is a joy to be around! :mrgreen:

Shadow and Moonie do indeed remind me of Fred and Ginger....they dance so beautifully together. I give all the credit to Moonie cause Shadow is not that disciplined in any other area of his life. But when it comes to dancing with Moonie, he is Mr. Serious.... :lol:
