Yesterday's Condo

Morning everyone. ~O) Shadow ate his breffis and is ready to groom himself now. All Ps in place except for the playing one.
He seems to be holding off on his bounces a little longer lately...there is a noticeable change in his MO. I am hoping that his bounces will be to a lower number, (like this 200 this morning :lol: This is high enough Shad...don't go any higher!! Keep dreaming!) and for a shorter duration. Wouldn't it be wonderful if he started using this dosecrease efficiently and stayed with it? confused_cat
His Mama would like that!
We will be slowly going earlier in shot time to get back to the 8~ 8 schedule so I can eliminate the one snack wake-up during the night. Everything and everyone is quiet this morning which is a nice way to start the day....

I would love to see him not have ANY bounce. Well, we can dream can't we... come Shadow, you can do it!
I like this latest run of numbers he's been having.

I had to catch up on 2 days of condos since we had no internet yesterday. Actually no internet, no electricity, no phones, no water, and no way out of our driveway. It was like camping in our own home. During the early morning hours a car wrecked in the front of our property, broke the power pole, dragged all the lines down on top of the car and along the driveway, hit an outdoor faucet and broke the water pipe. So the car was lying on it's side with the DUI drive inside, slightly hurt, HOT power lines on top and water gushing up from under the car. Then the pine tree he grazed had a hornet's nest and they were mad... So the firemen, policemen, EMT crews, and electric workers had an exciting time trying to figure out what to do first. They finally got the hornets sprayed down and then had to shut off the power so they could extract the guy from the wreck. What a way to wake up yesterday. Our driveway is very long and you cannot see our house from the street so they had to send firefighters to make sure we didn't get up and walk into the hot lines in the dark after we heard the sirens. Amazing that the electric company was able to come in about an hour after the car was towed and they removed the broken pole and replaced it so quickly. Next the cable company came and fixed the cable for TV and internet and they sort of hooked up the phones, but AT&T still hasn't come to make it secure. We had to get an emergency plumber to fix the water. That wasn't fun to be without water for most of the day. But we used buckets from our pool to wash hands and refill toilets.

Then today BigMac fell from the loft in our house (about 15 feet) and scared the doo-doo out of me. I thought he was injured but he was just stunned. I am watching him carefully but he's running and jumping fine now and is not wincing anywhere on his body when I squeezed him gently on his limbs and body. Man I just wanted to sleep late this morning after yesterday... but nooooo. :lol:

So I was happy to see Shadow's pretty numbers today. I like good news.

oh so close to blue shadow!! I know you can take this number and do good things with it ... CD, that was quite the morning you guys had! Hope your day today is much calmer!

Shadow is looking good! No bouncing Buddy got it!

CD I know it's not funny but I'm ROTFLMAO picturing the whole circus! What a day, well actually it sounds about like my typical day ohmygod_smile Impressive that they got everything half-way back to normal so quickly.

Pat, Sounds like you are having a quiet Monday. I hope Shadow continues to do well. How's his skin?

CD, What a funny story about yesterday's adventures. Sounds like you had quite a day. Sorry about Big Mac's fall, but I'm glad he seems to be okay.

CD--Ick! That's all I can say. That and that DUI ought to mean they take away your car. And make you have to go listen to three straight days of telemarketers.

CD...you won. THAT definitely wins the award for "Strangest Story" on FDMB!! I cannot believe all that was going on right in your front yard! nailbite_smile All I can say is: I am glad that no innocent people were hurt. That could have been awful but thankfully, no one was nearby and all it was was a lot of very annoying inconveniences. Isn't it horrible that innocent people are inconvenienced by the irresponsible actions of others?

Now....what about Big Mac???? How did that fall happen? OMG....I hope he is okay. Did you see him actually fall? I hope he won't be doing anything like that again...EVER! My goodness, you certainly had an eventful weekend.....topped by no one...what a post that was! :o

On the way down I hope. :lol: Raja came in from the terrace at the old snack time...an hour early. She wandered around a bit then decided to go back outside. She then asked to come in again when her tummy told her that it was the read time ~ +4 from the last snack. She and her brother really enjoyed their raw mixture with the canned. Now she is back outside.

Shadow is doing okay.....time for the bandage again cause he has been working on the sores again. What a fastidious boy he is. Constantly busy with his fur and then napping in between eating and grooming. But he is looking much better than before. I just hope he keeps his numbers coming down today. sigh.

LMAO!! He was doing the lick, lick, lick, wide-eyed.. "nothing to see here," routine. As if it was extremely vital to fix his fur just at that moment.

Shot half hour earlier than this morning. Bringing our shot time back to the old time so we are now 45 minutes later from the way it used to be. ( If I can get the PM +4 snack in before my bedtime it's much better for the Bean.)

He held off the bounce a little longer than last time and he did have a beautiful day yesterday in the blues. However, this is the 5th cycle on the attempted dosecrease. :-|
 
What a day! Come back down, Shad-0. I bounced too, but you bounced higher. (It sure was a fun surf, though!).

Fantastic story, CD! Are all the utilities restored yet? How's Big Mac? Apropos: years ago our friends had a crazy cat named Mouse. He decided to visit the cat across the street. The only problem was that they both lived on the 5th floors of their buildings. Mouse went to the window and thought he could leap across to the other building. He missed, fell 5 floors, and was a little shook-up, but otherwise fine. Cats are tough!
