Okay so we went sky high this morning, have no idea why. Husband said he fed dried octopus before am shot by mistake, but that shouldn't have any carbs and I tested about 10 minutes later. He ate and drank, made a huge poop, but no pee so i couldn't test for ketones...bet he ran straight to the kitty litter as soon as I was out the door...Why is he still putting out such high numbers?

I'm no expert at all but it could possibly be a bounce from those greens maybe? I think sometimes it can take a few days for the bounce to clear. I'm not at all sure of that though. Hopefully someone who knows more will stop in.

I suspect though, you're going to need to try to get some more tests in. Can your hubby get any in while you're at work? The more data you have, the easier it will be for the folks who know what's what to help. Max could be dropping into those greens more often than you realize.

Is there any way he could have gotten into some kibble or even some sort of people food? My Tugger has gotten into the dog's food on occasion so I have to watch and keep it picked up when the dogs are finished eating to keep the cats out of it. Tugger also likes noodles so we have to be careful not to drop any on the floor when cooking

Was it possibly a fur shot?
