Mickey 6/12 went to the rainbow bridge

I had Mickey at the vet today. He resorted to peeing and pooping on the kitchen table. So I took him in for tests. He had a tumor in his belly. We discussed this and both agreed to PTS. He was miserable, overweight and just not a happy guy. His blood sugar was 350 today.
My heart is breaking and cannot stop crying. But I did the best I could with him. He will be creamated and I can bring him back home then.

I'm SO sorry it was Mickey's time to cross, BIG HUGE LONG HUG. You definitely did the best for and with him...remember, he's not gone, you just have to hug him differently.

Oh Honey, I am so sorry for your loss, I have seen how much you have gone through with him to make him healthy and happy again. He was truly blessed to have you for his mom. I will ask Musette to be on the lookout for him and show him all the best places to chase butterflies and how to send you rainbows.

What a shock. I know you put so much love into his care and he had the best a kitty could want. With the problems he has been having, this must have been growing for a while. Still, it seems so sudden. I wish I was there to give you (((hugs))).

OMG I cant believe it! You are an amazing mommabean, and I know you did everything for him. I am so very sorry for your loss. Another long time special board kitty joins the others at the Bridge. Mickey is flying free now, whole and healthy over the Rainbow Bridge. rb_icon

I'm so sorry to see that you had to help Mickey leave his frail body and take on the grief of saying goodbye. He is free of any pain now but the sadness remains with you. Sending many comforting prayers your way.

I am so sorry for your loss of Mickey. It is so hard to lose our fur babies, especially after taking such good care of them. I hope in time your lovng memories will ease your pain.

I am so very sorry. What a very beautiful boy Mickey was. You gave him the ultimate and hardest gift of love. I am so very sorry. I pray God brings you comfort and peace.
 
Peggy - I'm so sorry for your loss. You did the best you could for Mickey and loved him enough to let him go.

Peggy, I am so very sorry. You have always been such a trooper in caring for Mickey with his issues. It was obvious how much you loved him and you were always so patient and understanding in trying to figure out the 'why'. May Mickey be at peace now and flying pain free. He was such a good boy. Hugs and sympathy to you Peggy and your family.
