Cat Urine Odor Products

Three categories make up cat urine odor/stain removal products: enzymatic, bacterial, and chemical.

We recommend you try the following products:

Anti-Icky-Poo: An enzyme/bacterial combination product.

Cat-Off or Animal Odor Eliminator (AOE), both by Thornell: Generally available from your veterinarian, these products use chemical processes to completely elminate odor. Research done by Texas A&M has shown this product extremely effective.

Nature’s Miracle: This product has changed formulations to very mixed reviews.

Petastic: The original formulation of Nature’s Miracle. An enzyme product.

Outright Litter Odor Remover: A dry powder that may be sprinkled on top of litter boxes.

Get Serious: Another great enzyme-based product, this is also very good for removing urine smell from carpet. The product will not “yellow” an area like some low-priced products.
