Looking for advice on increasing dose?

I'm going to tag more experienced members than I am when it comes to doses, but it does look like Zyler can use/an increase .
On your SS I was looking at the numbers you have for ounces of food ,didn't see the heading up top and was like what is she doing with these different doses

Thanks! I need to move the food around, still trying to find the best way to track everything for us. He’s so picky with food so trying to keep better track of what flavor he's eating so we can hopefully find something that he eats consistently.

Also can anyone share any threads or videos of insulin injections, sometimes I’m thinking I’m not injecting correctly based on his numbers, but I haven’t ever noticed the m-cresol smell on his fur, nor is it wet. Yesterday when I thought we could have missed since he moved his numbers show otherwise so just not getting it

Since you are seeing blue nadirs at night I would hold the dose two more cycles to see if the bg goes even lower.

Here is one from you tube, just ignore anything she says about how to draw insulin. You can also just Google
How to give insulin to your cat on you tube ,a lot of them will come up
I have always given it to Tyler in the scruff, when you pull up on it you will feel like an indentation ,you can feel it with your finger

Thanks, I’ve been looking and I had read somewhere to choose a different spot everyday but the scruff has definitely been the easiest spot. I also must have a shorter needle length

I have always given it in the scruff.
I don't remember ever reading to choose a different spot everyday

It’s very common for a cat’s BG to be lower at night. That’s why you will see lots of ph parties and sleep deprived caregivers.
