? Zofran and Appetite stimulator

Hello!
My cat wasnt eating for about 2 weeks and on Saturday evening I started an appetite stimulator and zofran and he started eating great ever since. How long should I continue these meds safely?
 
It’s great your kitty’s eating again! Did your kitty get a test and a diagnosis? 2 weeks is a long time to not be eating normally, you must have been so worried! What did your vet say might have been the reason he/she stopped eating?

Yes we did full blood panel.. all came back perfect.
Only thing we found was a double ear infection they did ear drops in office to treat it ( no oral antibiotics) ... so all I can think of is if the ear infection made him nauseous .

I'm kind of scared to stop doing the meds though because it was a really tough time when he wasnt eating
 
I would continue for a few days more then stop the appetite stimulant first and see if he continues to eat. If all is well then easy back on the ondansetron. If he continuously eat well then stop the ondansetron.

I actually didn't do the zofran at all today yet .. do you think I should do a dose or just see what happens ?
