I'm home sick with bronchitis and my head is mush. I left the Lantus on the counter after dosing this morning. It's been almost 6 hours! Please, please, will it be ok? We haven't even had it three weeks.
Yikes! Left insulin out!

I think we have all done that at some point. Lantus will last 28 days unrefrigerated, we only refrigerate it to make it last longer since kitties takes such a small dose.

I only refigigerate unopen cartridges and vials, once upon I keep them in a dark drawer, and they last about 6 weeks that way
