Worsening liver values on Fuzzy's recent lab results — ALT elevated & increasing, high AST & ALP

Fuzzy has been doing very well the past couple weeks, but unfortunately we've had some new discouraging news as of the last two visits to the vet.

Fuzzy's lab results from February 22-24 showed worsening ALT (362 u/l) and newly elevated AST (122 u/l), and her recheck yesterday (3/2) showed continued or worsening values as well (ALT: 410; AST: 118; ALP: 74). The "Labs" tab on Fuzzy's spreadsheet should be up to date, but I've also uploaded a pdf that contains recent lab results (ordered from most recent (3/2) to 10/22/2021) here in case anyone would like to take a look: bit.ly/fuzzy-labs

We are getting a referral to take her to see an internal medicine specialist elsewhere in the state so that she can get a liver aspirate and ultrasound (hopefully soon). In general, we're just very scared and sad that this is happening after she's finally starting to gain some weight and has been really thriving at home and loving her new food.

Does anyone have any experience with dealing with concurrent liver issues and have any advice on things we should look out for or questions we should ask about when making the appointment for her procedure? This is the first time doing anything like this since Fuzzy was diagnosed with diabetes.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the reason there is heightened concern about her liver to begin with is because it was mentioned in the write-up of the findings from an ultrasound she had done back in November 2021.

When my cats had liver problems the liver values were over 1000.
How is fUzzy eating and acting?
I do not like the consistently high BGs except for the PM on March 2. Anything to explain the those low BGs?

That makes me feel a little bit better since we're not quite there yet... January was the first time she's ever had any elevated liver values and at the time it was just ALT. But that has been climbing since and on the last two sets of results there were additional abnormalities so we weren't sure how alarmed we should be about where they're at now as we wait to hear back about a referral appointment.

Other than the newly abnormal lab results, she's been doing really great lately. Her appetite has been great and she's finally started to maintain her weight at 4-4.1 lbs.

Her BG values bounce around a good bit and we've had a few scares where it's reached lower than it usually does, but we're not sure what happened the other night that made her drop so much quicker than usual. The only other time it dropped anywhere close to that quickly she'd had poor appetite that morning, but this time she ate her usual amount beforehand (a little less than a can of wet food) so we're sort of at a loss.
