Hi all, I have increased Ruperts dosage to 1.5 U for 3 + days and it looks to me like I should increase it to maybe 1.75. His BG's are still high at AMPS and PMPS I will be around tomorrow, so will be able to test him as needed. I tried 1.6 U one day with the U 100 syringe, but worried I wasn't shooting correctly because of the smaller needle and went back to the U 40 @ 1.5. I have the conversion chart and did it right, but I got worried (there's that lack of confidence again :nailbiting:) What do you think, time to up it a little? Thanks in advance!

I would say an increase is warranted, an that giving an additional .25 is safe. What are you feeding? If you could add this to your signature it'd save others asking too.

I agree. I think that going up .25 would be good. Help get those numbers in a lower pattern....could you monitor when you do? I always liked to monitor the first day or so on a new cycle if possible.

U100s take some getting used to. I printed out the conversion chart and kept it on the fridge and I always triple checked too. That way, I just knew for sure I wasn't doing it wrong.

I always counted up by 0.2s for each tick mark on a U-100 with half unit marks -
0.2, 0.4, 0.6, etc.

Thanks everyone for replying! I will be around today to monitor Rupert, sure hope this brings those numbers down. I will do a +2 and +4 as usual, unless he seems "off". Have my Hypo instructions, grilled FF and karo syrup on hand just in case.

I will update my signature Mogmom, I forgot to put FF Classics and Friskies pate as the wet food I am feeding. I do feed him fish more then 2 times a week, he is not fond of the liver type ones much.

Thanks BJM, I'll try that. I actually use a magnifying glass to check my dosage, getting old here! I tried to do my signature like you said, so it would read correctly without going to the link, but it didn't work. I will give it another try.

The trick with the signature is that you may have only 2 hard returns, ie 3 lines.

To get a short link to the spreadsheet, you highlight and cut the link, type Spreadsheet, highlight the typed word(s), click the chain link icon, paste the spreadsheet link in the box, and click Insert.

I did try that, easy enough, but it didn't work for some reason. Maybe I did something wrong, I will try again. I rather have that, my two links are long and confusing! lol

The other way to do it is this:
[ u r l = link] text you want here [ / u r l ]
Just take the extra spaces out between the brackets!

Yep, time to up it a little. Great job in your assessment.
Thanks Merlin, wish us luck!

I did it! Thanks BJM! I was using the unlink instead of cut. Doh!
