@Kris & Teasel

Time to start over. Should be the last one.

He's posting great numbers. PMPS was 254 and unless I'm mistaken that's about perfect.

He's off the temptations now. Other than sneaking into the kibble (which he does when i nap in the afternoon, hence a couple high PMPS) he's really learning well.

All good news!

That’s great! No need to stop posting altogether because things can change and insulin dosing go a little up and down. You need to keep up the testing routine too because it’s not a case of find a good dose and you’re done. :)

I just don't want to keep taking up your time is all. I have no problem posting.

I csan also safely say the testing isn't a problem anymore, i'm committed. One thing strange i've learned. if I test his right ear he gets bugged. if Its his left ear he's fine. How strange is that?

i've gotten to where most times I test i get it first trye and he doesn't notice now. but he's getting much better about it.
Nice numbers today! :)

Yes, except i just hit a 307 PMPS. I noted in the comment I don't know why. I made SURE he didn't eat 2hrs prior, and he got no kibble and no temptations today or yesterday at all

I wouldn’t worry about that one pink number. It’s not that different from the high yellows. Meter readings are allowed to have 20% variance.

ok. he had a low AMPS. just to make sure, he's at 217. unless you say different i'll still do 3.5 and just make sure to get a +4 and +6

Go for it! :) The more data you have in a variety of PS situations the easier it is to make dosing decisions down the line.
