When my cat's sleep, they whistle when they breathe. It's through their noses, it's not loud, but I can definitely hear it. It is not new, they have done this for a long time. We have a humidifier for the whole house, plus an additional warm mist humidifier specifically for this room, because this is where the cats sleep all day. I don't know what else to do for them. Any suggestions?

Cats are strange and the whistling probably means nothing. If you notice any breathing problems while they are awake you can do some investigating then. As for odd sounds, my Sky hoots like an owl and has been known to bark like a puppy. Just more reasons to love him.

no, never any weird sounds (other then mochas voice) during the day. It's only as they are sleeping, and it tends to be more when they are in a deep sleep, rather then just closing their eyes.
