Where does everyone buy their Prozinc?

Thinking of switching to Prozinc insulin and wondering where everyone gets it? I've seen it on Chewy for a good price, but I've heard bad things about their Rx service. Does Walmart carry it in stores? Any mainstream pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens?

Prozinc is a pet-only insulin so you won't find it in any people pharmacies. I've had excellent experience with Chewy.com for insulin too. :)

The first time you order from Chewy it might take longer because they have to verify the vet script, once they get that you get it within a couple days. Packaging is awesome..they use 2 freezer bags and a styrofoam cooler.

I switched my cat to Prozinc a few weeks ago and went with Chewy. He was on Vetsulin and I was getting it from the vet ($58 for insulin and $18 for syringes). I ordered the Prozinc and syringes from Chewy and with free shipping and a coupon code my total was $101. A few days after ordering I got an email from them saying that they did not get a response from my vet. I did a little go between from the vet and Chewy and they had the prescription by that afternoon. The very next day around 12:00 pm the box arrived. Everything was packaged so well! The insulin was in a cooler with an ice pack. The package even came with a coupon for $20 off if I order again before August. The biggest hold up was the correspondence with the vet, other than that I like the prices and the customer service.

Had the exact same issue, was wondering what was taking so long so I contacted Chewy and they said they were still waiting on the script. After I put a fire under my vet office's butt and got it sent they overnighted my vial. :)

My vet is terrible about getting back to online companies. I think they just want you to get it over priced through them.

Bug your vet clinic again. As many times as you need to. Become a "squeaky wheel" that needs some grease to silence.
It's not usually Chewy or elsewhere that has the issue, but the vet office.

Fortunately my vet carries it for $93. Chewy would be my next choice. If it’s coming from their south FL warehouse, I’ll get it next day, but if it’s coming from up north, I’ve learned it can take up to 3 days. FedEx has let me down twice now.

Prozinc is a more expensive insulin
