Where can I find info on curves ?

I am starting to understand how this whole cat diabetes works I think, but really need to understand how curves work to be able to give the right amount of insulin and as to help Loki with his "bounces". Can anyone point me to either and article here or explain them to me. His SS is now updated. Thanks
