Jennifer -

I can't tell from your spreadsheet which dosing method you're following. The information on both Start Low Go Slow and Tight Regulation is in one of the sticky notes on the Lantus, etc. board. Our knowing which method you're using will help us to offer better guidance when you have a question re. dosing.

I would also encourage you to start posting on the Lantus board. There is a great deal of experience with regard to using Lantus on that board.

@Sienne and Gabby (GA) I have it listed on the spreadsheet..I'm doing the SLGS method
I've posted on the Lantus board as well, but thought this was kinda a general question to post here. I can stick to the Lantus board if that is easier!

You can ask all general questions here on the main forum.
But I would ask all questions relating to the dose and Lantus on the Lantus forum. You will get more responses there.
If you can put SLGS into the signature please, it will stop people asking you what method you are following.
Its a bit hard in the beginning working out what goes where on the forum but you are doing great!:)

As a general rule, at the beginning of managing your cat's diabetes, you don't want to shoot lower numbers (e.g., below 150 - 200). As you gain more experience and confidence, you want to start shooting progressively lower numbers. Generally, people using TR won't shoot below 90. However, by comparison, with TR, you don't shoot below 50 so you have a decent margin with SLGS.

Just to point out some of why I asked about which dosing method you're using, the drop into the 50s during then PM cycle on 5/24 warranted a dose reduction with SLGS. You reduce if numbers are below 90.
