When do you stop giving insulin in a well regulated cat?

Rocky seems to be well regulated, I have to give him smaller and smaller doses.
At present he is on about 6-7 drops which I put on the SS as ss(super small) 0.25.
I'm using pet meter and double check with human meter because advice here is given on human one.
I came to conclusion that both meters are very similar when it comes to small numbers like 3.5 - 5. On higher numbers the difference is about 1 point or 1.5 on numbers above 8 on AlphaTrak (8 versus 6.5, 6.6 v 5.7, 6.9 v 5.6, 8.1 v 6.9).
Having seen some cats going of the juice recently with PS in blue got me thinking that I, maybe should stop insulin but I don't want to ruin hard work I went through with Rocky.
Would be most grateful if you guys could give me some feedback what you think.

When you can maintain BG below about 150 without insulin. You last PS was 7.9 (142) with+6 of 5.5 (99).
You can try stopping insulin and see what happens to BG

Larry,
many thanks.
See what happens tomorrow and if the numbers are good I can try not to give insulin PM.
Really appreciate your opinion.
