Thank you. This is what I said:

And the topic got locked! :?

I have no idea what it is about, Rebecca says I'm supposed to "Do your own research" on it. If it the Twitter post is wrong or misleading then it should be deleted or modified.

Yea, I'm a little dumbfounded by it.

Gator, quit being so dense. The twitter was from 2009 and was valid at that time. I am not wasting anymore time on this, when you can do a google search for yourself. And if you can't find 15 month old information, that is your problem. And if you can't read dates, that is your problem. If you read a tweet on an old event, that doesn't mean the tweet is still accurate. Dammit, quit being a big pain, there are more important topics. _Rebecca

Okay, a year old tweet. I thought I looked at the date but I didn't see a year. Whew! OK it does say 2009. Disregard this message.

Yes, it's a year old but from the info provided I do not know where AAHA said to discontinue PZI?

Obviously, I'm not the only one to be alarmed by the Tweet.

PZI Vet by IDEXX was discontinued at least two years ago, maybe three. There was a stockpile inventory that allowed some people to continue use for a period of time. Prozinc is the newer insulin.

Compounded PZI is still available.

Please check with your vet for their preferred choice when switching insulin.
