I have to go to work right after Diamond’s pm shot. His last BG levels are in the blue. I don’t understand why and what should I do? Feed a high carb snack maybe? He started Zobaline yesterday. Could this cause goofy numbers? I posted in Lantus forum but didn’t get a response.

Best thing I can suggest right now is that you pop back to your Lantus thread and edit the title to say you need dosing advice ASAP for tonight's PM cycle. It will hopefully attract more attention from experienced members of the group and get you some timely help. :)

no high carb is needed yet, only when BG is going too low.

the lantus is just doing its job, took like 6-7 days and than we started seeing blues too.
i gave half a dose when it first happen and even gave a half a dose when it was over 150 but, under 200 just to be safe since we were new at this but, our diabetic specialist told us to shoot full shot over 150, half shot 100-150 and no shot under 100. since you are not going to be home, i personally would shoot a half dose if PM is between 150-200 and no shot under 150...but, that's just my opinion, there are more experienced folks on here that may think differently and offer better asvice.

the zobaline actually made my cat's number climb upwards some so i don't think his numbers are lower because of it at all.

Nice little surf in the blues today! :)

ETA: It's great that you snagged that test at AM+11. Tests at +10 and +11 can be extremely helpful in situations like this. :)
