? What does the grey in Dr. Lisa's sheet mean?

I can't find a legend to explain what the cells in grey mean.

mg PHOS/100 kcals

Some cells are grey, some white. What is the significance of the colors.

To me it looks like Dr Lisa intended to alternate light shading of each row to make viewing across a row easier. It looks like the shading go messed up for some rows.
