I know grain free does not qualify as good food for diabetics, but this one says it has peas which offers a lower glycemix index. Maybe it

could be used as a treat or for sugar free cats or for the cat who really wants his ocasional dry food and is diabetic.

Check the nutrition info on the bag and do the math to determine carbs by weight.
Then do the math to estimate calories from each of protein (3.5 per gram), carb (3.5 per gram), and fat (8.5 per gram)
Finally, divide the calories from each source by total calories to get you percentage calories from source.

Or maybe try the freeze-dried chicken, meat, or fish as a treat since these crunch.

I am not going to give any of my cats dry food ever again. It was very hard for some to give it up. I was just wandering if it was true.

What better place to find out. The group here is very informed. THANKS!
