Wet shots - WHY?!

My gf has to do most of Alice's shots it seems like lately because all I can do are wet shots. How is this happening when I swear I feel the needle go into her skin, etc.?

Is it possible that you're accidentally pressing on the plunger before the needle is all the way in? This happened to me a couple of times at the start, when I accidentally caught it with one of my free fingers so I try to be extra careful when pushing it in now.

Try 'tenting' differently - instead of pulling up a triangle of skin, grasp the hair between your thumb and side of your hand then ROLL the skin a bit toward the back of your hand. That parts the hair and gives you a 'part line' to shoot into. This works better for long haired kitties too.

Keep your thumb of the plunger when inserting. Be sure you aren't going through the other side.

Is it that easy to go through to the other side? I don't press the plunger until I feel it go in. Thank you.
