OK- I know this topic has been done to death, but I am feeling so overwhelmed and can't seem to find what I need for my poor kitty. I need a chicken pate for my sugar kitty. He is very picky! I have tried so many that I am confused and am going with a fresh start. I have looked at all the food lists and honestly I can't tell if some of them have gravy or not, or are the best for diabetics. Can someone please give me just a few (very specific) for my shopping list?

Thank you all so much! On the plus side- my dry food addict has been eating .25-.5 ounces of wet food/day. Better than nothing! The parmesean sprinkle trick was the BEST ADVICE EVER!!! :-) Thank you to all that suggested that!

Plain chicken pate? I feed Fancy Feast Chicken Feast Classic Pate & Wellness Chicken grain free pate.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. I think my confidence is just shot and I am so afraid of doing something wrong that I am just making things more complicated...There seem to be so many choices and I don't trust labels.

I will grab some tonight :-)

Love the photos -- if you want a lower priced treat than Halo (I know it can be pricey and the package is tiny) - try Purebites it's the same thing only in a larger size bag. I usually order mine online from here - http://www.kingwholesale.com/Shopping/i ... fm?id=5994 I get the 11.6 ounce bag - it's the largest they make and usually buy 6 at at time for the cheaper pricing and free shipping - you would need to check to see if they ship overseas.

Aside from price and package size - the only discernible difference I noticed is that the halo seems to be "creamier" in texture than the purebites. and yes I actually taste tested both. :o :-D

A tip on the Halo treats, because they ARE pricey - I've found Amazon has them for much cheaper than any place local. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be available for the "subscribe and save" or I'd do that to save even more. But the same package we've found locally for $10.99 is $6.99 on Amazon. I order two at a time so I don't risk running out and Tasha killing me in my sleep.
