Weruva Paw Lickin Chicken

So I saw this flavor of Weruva on Dr. Lisa's list, with a carb level of 3%. But I am just wondering if that is accurate, as it is labeled as chicken "in gravy" and gravy is bad for diabetic cats, right? My cat likes it a lot, but I am just worried that maybe the carb number is not right. Potato starch is the only thing in the ingredients that would account for carbs, but still... Any thoughts?

It looks correct, it also appears on Tanya's page as 3.9% (https://felinecrf.org/canned_food_usa.htm). As well as the Weruva's website 3.3%(https://weruva.com/nutrition-landing/wcc-ni/). It is nice to see Weruva is very forthcoming with the nutritional information of their food.

I guess if the potato starch is listed lower down in the ingredients there may not be very much.

what flavor? we are still trying to find a canned food he really likes that is low carb

It is low carb. It is not really gravy at all more like broth! My cats like it but it doesn’t have a whole lot of calories.

Take a look at the Weruva Chicken Frick ‘A Zee. My cats actually prefer that one. It also is basically shredded chicken only it has more dark meat in there. No potato starch.
