Well! This has been a crazy week and a half. *exhales slowly*

Packers, movers, in-laws helping reno the house, multiple trips to Lowes, yard sale, emergency room visit, one civie put in quarantine, shuffling things here, shuffling things there, family visiting a lot, cats crying from having to be locked up constantly because of everything going on, DH leaving, and P doing his thing.

Now the house is mostly empty and I still have a ton of work to do on it.

P's been being P. Not so decent numbers, decent numbers, good numbers, bad numbers, and (last night) numbers so bad, they don't even show up as numbers. I'm going to try a couple different experiments in the next few weeks. 1) Really keeping an eye on his activity to see what role it plays. 2) Shooting in the same general spot over a few days instead of jumping around. 3) Food. Should I feed less? More? He's eating four cans of Fancy Feast a day, and still wants more. He doesn't have hyper-t, but I'm wondering what else could cause his hunger.

Just wanted to give a quickie update. I'll be back to posting daily condos now that things have slowed down and I'm getting back into the swing of things. I hope everyone and their sugar babies are doing well! I'll be checking in with you guys soon.

Hi Melissa and P!

Hope you guys are getting settled! :-D

I have P's SS up in a tab and like to keep an eye on him. I saw some blues the other night!!

Hope you two are doing well!

Hey Jen!

We're both doing well. :-D Had a change of plans and decided to stay with my mom instead of in an empty house until I finish school. The only down side is driving two hours to school and back, four days a week. But I've really been enjoying spending time with my mom.

As for those blues, (I don't want to talk them up too much!) but I was really surprised to see more blues only a few cycles after the ones from the other night. Usually he waits weeks to show them to me again.

Thanks for checking in on us :-D

Hi Melissa -

I'm Lu-Ann and something like a graduate of this board! Two years ago, Grayson was dx with Acromegaly, after "swimming in a sea of pinks" for several months, despite very high doses (or at least high at that time).

Grayson was also a ravenous beast. He's now eating 4 cans of FF/day, but for a while, he was eating 12-14 cans. Yes, PER DAY!

Because someone here encouraged me to look into having Grayson tested for IGF-1 and IAA (Insulin-like growth factor 1 and Insulin AutoAntibody - also known as Insulin Resistance), G was dx with Acromegaly and IAA and ultimately treated. He is now nearly 2 yrs post-treatment and doing great! The info for these tests, which are done at Michigan State University, and additional info is posted on the ISG group entitled "Acro/IAA/Cushings". There's also great info there. That board is not very active, as most of the Acro/IAA kitties gather on Facebook.

If I can answer any questions for you, please feel free to contact me. I only pop in here occasionally, so if you post to this or a new thread, please shoot me a PM and ask me to take a look.

Lu-Ann
