Just 2 months shy of being in remission, my Sophie girl is going back on insulin thanks to some bladder issues/a round of pancreatitis. Her blood sugar came back down after two other cases of pancreatitis, but we weren't so lucky this time unfortunately. I am definitely bummed to be doing insulin again, but I feel much more confident this time and I feel fortunate to have this group for support from the beginning instead of a year in. We will be using Prozinc this time around and just did our first shot!

Looking forward to being active here again and getting advice and support from everyone :cat:

Welcome back Sarah and Sophie although I’m sure you would rather not!
Same thing happened with Sheba. She managed to go back to ok numbers after a few pancreatic flares but then that and diarrhoea dropped her out of remission. I know how you feel.

I’ll tag @Panic and @JanetNJ

Thanks Bron :cat: I'm crossing my fingers she'll just be on the juice temporarily but not holding my breath.

We actually started out using Prozinc when she was first diagnosed, but I wasn't as experienced at that time and wasn't home testing. So I am familiar with it, but would definitely welcome any advice!
