BC has really not had much of a change all day today. I'm guessing that sometimes just happens?

I am wondering if it just wasn't enough insulin. On 5/30 with the 303 AMPS you shot 1.5 and it got Baby cat into the blues at +9. Let's see what everyone else thinks.

I agree. I don't think it was enough insulin, honestly. Looking back, at 1 unit BC doesn't move much. I'm wondering if 1.5 isn't a better dose. Any chance you could run a curve soon? Maybe this weekend? I'd be interested to see what the numbers do throughout the day (BTW, you've done GREAT at getting mid cycle numbers. The occasional curve just really helps to give us an overall picture for one day.)

Sorry! It means you test every 2 hours. So, for example, you'd do AMPS and shot. Then get a test at +2, +4, +6, +8, +10 and then PMPS.

This just gives us good info on how the insulin works. Basically it shows us how fast the cat drops, how far down it takes them, how fast they rise,, and how far up they go. I suggested it because you've got some great information at different times. But seeing what it does in one day might help us to determine what kind of movement you can expect in one day. It might help us figure out if 1 or 1.5 units is better. :)

If that means sticking him all day on the hour or something, I could do it tomorrow.

He hasn't really eaten much today. He doesn't act like he's feeling bad, just his appetite isn't what it used to be on the wet food. He getting slimmer and having more good days where he wants to be with us instead of hiding all day, so that's awesome. He's getting old, and I guess like old people, cats appetites wane, too.

Definitely tomorrow, or maybe Saturday or Sunday. I should be home tomorrow but we are in the process of getting ready to buy our first home and I'm going to contact a mortgage broker tomorrow. Surely they won't want me to come right away.
