When the body is able to metabolize food, so when blood glucose levels lower....there is no exact point and each cat is different unfortunately.
 
Yeah my Webber even lost a little more weight once we started the Lantus. It took a couple of weeks before he began to stabilize. BUT I also switched his from dry food to wet food at the same time. So....the weight loss could have also been because of the diet change. How long has it been?

A couple of oz. from about August until January. Then, seems to have lost since even when I push more food. About 8oz lost. Started lantus last Friday, has lost another oz. Feed mostly weight, some free feeding dry while I'm at work trying to push as many calories. Won't eat wet from a dish.
