Weezer sees a new vet

We have an appointment with a new vet this morning. The vet we have been seeing for 20+ years is great. He has saved Weezer's life on more than one occasion. But he is old school and near the end of his career. He has always used Humulin N and says he just wouldn't be comfortable at this point in his career to try to manage the tight regulation protocol for lantus. We will stay with him for everything but Weezer's diabetic care. With his help, I located a local vet who does use lantus in her practice.

Weezer is not happy to see the carrier out. I'm sure she will be even more unhappy to see someone other than Dr. S. when she comes out of the carrier! Wish us luck.

I located a local vet who does use lantus in her practice.

From the look of your spreadsheet, it appears that the new vet just upped the amount of Humulin you were giving???
