Website question re: local contacts

Hello,

Is there a place on this website to find people who live in the same area? I am in Northern Virginia.

Hi Victoria, I really dont think there is (at least to my knowledge) . That would be nice and make it easy for peeps to meet up or for a local support group in a perfect world. I do believe adding location information is optional, (for security and confidentiality). There are peeps here from all over the planet.... any question here is relevant, you only need to ask it. you'll likely get an answer. Option 2 you could try editing your thread title and add N Virginia specific, there may be members here closeby.
 
At one point there was an emergency list but it was deliberately not public. There are too many spammers who troll the website and we didn't want to violate anyone's privacy by disclosing anything location related. I'd suggest putting something in your subject line indicating you're looking to find people in the Northern VA area.
