Hi All,

We don't have many "experienced" people on ProZinc at the moment, but we do have lots of new "faces". We understand if you don't want to give dosing advice, but we would love it if you could post on each other's condos - even if only "I feel that way too" or "you are doing a great job". It will make the person whose thread it is feel good, but it is also good for you to have someone in the same boat you can relate and talk to. Think of it as making new friends. :-D

I am selling my house in Colorado Springs and will eventually be moving to Denver, but the new house won't be ready for 6 weeks. I will have intermittent internet during that time and won't be able to be around as much as I usually am. Robin and BJ are around but we need you all!

Please consider jumping in and helping others out, even if you only want to cheer them on or commiserate. That is very valuable input for them and is always appreciated.

I agree!!

The first time you got blood out of your cats ear and tested it gave you experience that a member who received their dx today doesn't have. Every day you gain experience and knowledge that you didn't have yesterday. Maybe you have read a sticky or learned something you read in a thread that another new member hasn't read yet, share it.

We are all in this together, you are all now part of this PZI family. :YMHUG: Group hug. :-D

Hello Everyone,

I will post, too. Having recently moved, I completely understand how iffy internet connections & challenges to our time can be. My Pudge has recently gone out of remission (was on ProZinc), though this time he'll be on Levemir since I had flexpens left from my sweet Little One who's still in remission.

Take care,
Sophie

Hi Sophie,

I read your recent history with Pudge earlier tonight, and was sorry to hear he's back on the juice. But as you described it, it would be perfect information to share. How his numbers went wonky when you had to feed the kitten food, and how they came right back down once you were able to get him back on "the good stuff". It's a perfect example of how carbs can come back and mess things up even after a kitty has gone OTJ. Here's praying his current stint on the dance floor is a brief one.

I am here only two weeks and I work during the day, but I will be happy to help in any way I can, even if it is just to calm someone down until someone more experienced can come on the board. I know how scary this is and how important this board has been to my journey so far. Count me in!

Sue, I don't know how I am going to cope with you here sporadically..lol. HURRY and move so you can check in on me and Simon. We are attached to you now and I look for your wisdom. :YMHUG:

Everyone has something to offer. It is so much more powerful to hear from another new member who went through the testing angst or the food trials last month or last week, rather than someone who has not had a diabetic cat in a while. Thank you all.

Just point anyone to all of Rumpelteazer's daily posts and they will see everything....from the good....to the bad....to the ugly.

The would also see how much WONDERFUL help I received from everyone on the PZI board. AWESOMENESS !!!! :-D

And in RumpelT's daily posts, there are some tips and suggestions and how she went from day 1 to actually WANTING to have the 'pokey-poke' done.

I will try to post info as best as I can. But as you all know....I have such a goofy work schedule......it is difficult for me to get a lot of reading/posting in.

Kitteh hugs to all the new ProZinc users in PZI. :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon

I will post more often. Ive been away a while but Im back again and wont ever leave. I've had Chicken LIttle on PSI for a year and a half and I know a few things about it. When I was first a newbie I know how this helped me so much. I could have not made it this far without it. I also need friends~~ cat_pet_icon

Terri, you don't get just 'friends' here, you get new members of your family! ;-) That third cousin on your mothers side, once removed from your 5th neighbor's last boyfriend, by way of a wrong turn trying to find the right street address for the OTJ party. Or something like that.

I shall try & make more of an effort. Milo's PZI (Hypurin Bovine) doesn't quite behave like the stuff you guys use, but I'll do what I can!
