Thanks everyone! Cat nip, chicken, tuna...Max's mouth is watering. Yummy! I wanted to give it a month before making it "official" and adding Max to the Recent Remissions list. Truly, it would not have happened without the help from all of you.
eeraby, yes Max was on a compounded PZI. When he was diagnosed, my vet still had most of his practice on Vetsulin, which is what we started on the first 3 days. When I read about Vetsulin being recalled, I asked for ProZinc instead, which the office did not have in stock. Anyway, long story short, we ended up on a compounded PZI. I know there are concerns with compounded versus brand name ProZinc, so if you're interested, I would research.
