We're heading out the door in a few minutes to take Midgie, our civvie, to see a specialist about what appears to be some kind of mass in her lung.

We could use all the love you can spare right now.

Thank you! Basically we know nothing more than we did 2 hours ago. We have a CT scan scheduled on Monday.

The husband mentioned we have a diabetic cat who I got diet-controlled in 4 months and the doc said "Have you heard of the Rand protocol?"
YUP! We sure have. He recently attended a lecture by her.
 
We'll keep thinking healing thoughts and sending snowflakes until the CT scan visit. She is quite the pretty girl.

Did you tell the vet you are a poster child for the Rand protocol?
 
I was pretty bummed out by having to be there at all, but him mentioning Rand was a bright spot. They're a specialist advanced practice so by the time they see any diabetics, its usually too late. He said he loves to hear remission stories.
 
Little Boy sends his best wishes to his cousin Midgie! He's also feeling a bit off at the moment so he is full of sympathy for her.
He says to say hello to Midgie and wishes her the best for Monday!

Just seeing this now so the Fur Gang and I will be keeping our fingers, toes, paws and tails all crossed for Midge.
