? Ways to give shots.. Tips on Roll method? :)

So..

I’m wondering if im accidentally hitting muscle when i give shots now cuz he’s put his weight back on :bighug:.. where skin isn’t as loose now that makes shots a little harder. He has a bit of loose skin on different parts of his frame but the area we’ve been doing it mostly around (back, shoulder blades, lower neck..) has reduced.. This distresses us both. Hes also all over the place now at shot time cuz I know its unpleasant; he wont eat straight.. its now trying to get him to eat over 15-30 min cuz i think hes nervous of the shot. :(:(:(

this might be me too… i check the syringe a lot, make sure its correct. have a bit of nerves sometimes. working on this.

Any tips/tricks on how to give shots painlessly as possible? Read all the stickies I could find and the webpage info i can see but idk.. confused. Trying to envision but cant seem to all the way. Most tenting ive seen these kitties you can easily grab em and tent. Im having trouble now! haha..

and can anyone explain the Roll method a little better/more?? i cant see it.

It also appears (w the pictures of the sphynx kitty).. they just grabbed an itty bitty pinch of skin and inserted the insulin there.. thats ok to do too??? Or thats for a pen?….. Was gonna maybe insert the needle maybe part way and try but not sure if wise.. maybe just insert needle all the way there, parallel. Also here you do 45 angle but not sure what method that is…

Here's the best way to explain hope this helps:bighug::bighug::cat::cat: I know is a hairless cat, but I just pick up the skin for instance just above the shank, a thick piece, put the needle in, then push the syringe straight thru, I use the U-40 syringe
