Australian catfoods which are alright for your diabetic cat, that is, which have less than 7% calories from carbs, were, I believed, a short list shown below including all flavours of the "Ultimates" cat food range. But the other day I discovered one of an Ultimates variety pack contains rice. The packs are 7X85g, sold in Woollies as a purple bulk buy. The flavour has a lime green label and is called "Virgin Flaked Tuna with Brown Rice". Now I know that fishy catfood is not best for them, but Ak is going through a phase which apparently must involve some fish.
Ingredients list: Tuna, Chicken mince, Surimi, Brown Rice, Gelling Agents, Taurine.
The rest of the list of foods which I give Akbah, for any Australians who are looking for flavours or want to comment on same:
Any Whiskas LOAFSTYLE flavour e.g. chicken and turkey loafstyle
Any Ultimates except this Tuna with Brown Rice variant
Any Natures Gift though Ak doesn't like them any more. My civvie is deeply into their kangaroo flavour

Fancy Feast: Roasted Succulent Chicken Royale
Fancy Feast: Tuna and shrimp Royale
