Re: Can Anyone Suggest a Good Vet in Cincinnati?

1) do a google maps search: vet near {put in your address}

2) print out the Vet interview topics in my signature link.

Is he still on Novulin N? If so, it lasts 6-8 hours per shot, so dividing the total daily dose into thirds given every 8 hours will get better control without taking him too low, nor swinging too high.

Are you home testing? That will let you know how well his diabetes is being controlled.

And, pop over to Cat Info if you have not done so already, and read, plus, print out the PDF of the site to share with the current vet...or the techs, if they are more open to some continuing education.

I'm in Columbus and took Spitzer to MedVet whenever he had an emergency. You might try the Cincinnati location. They are likely to have some Internal Medicine Specialists with experience in diabetes. MedVet locations

Re: Can Anyone Suggest a Good Vet in Cincinnati?

I got Pepper switched to Lantus in September and I've been posting in the Lantus Tight Regulation forum daily, but it was suggested that I post this question in Health. I just would like to find a new vet. But thanks for the vet interview topics.

Great! They're very experienced.

(Sorry - could have searched your name, but I'm using my phone and it isn't quite as easy as the PC for running multiple pages!)
