Vaccination Question

Vegetable is due for her basic & rabies vaccinations. is their anything I should be concerned about with vaccinations & sugar kitties?

Is it really necessary to get the feline lukemia shot? The only reason I'm getting her rabies shot is so we can take vegetable with us when we cross the border.

My new veterinarian (who is holistic) tells me that Bangkok, my cat, should not be receiving any more shots as long as he is an indoor cat. If Vegetable is not an outdoor cat, I don't see why she needs FeLV shots.

I think all states in the USA require a valid rabies vaccination. Some states do not even allow a medical waiver. What that means if your cat bites someone and your cat is not vaccinated you can be held liable. That could include euthanizing your cat so its brain can be tested for rabies.

It doesn't look like all states require it for cats.
