I have been using the organic pumpkin for my other cat who has been lazy in the poop dept, also for Loki my sugar cat but I was wondering if the sugar in the Pumpkin would affect his numbers? He has had it for 2 days and yesterday his numbers were higher than usual, did not give it to him last night and his numbers look much better.
The can says total carbs 9 g Sugars 4 g Total fat 0g no cholesterol, no sodium, protein 1g The brand is Farmers Market Organic Pumpkin.
Thanks

It's 100% pure pumpkin right? Not the pie filling and no sugar or anything added.?

I am using canned pumpkin on bailey and it isn't affecting his numbers.

just an FYI, posts are being lost, as least mine have been the last 10min or so.

Anyway, what about adding 1/8 or 1/4 tsp of Miralax to the meals and adding extra water to the food?
If your cat is already having problems, it may be past the pumpkin stage and need something to soften the stool and make it passable.
