Using MiraLax and Lactulose Together.. ??

I am curious. We are looking at starting Lactulose tonight, but I also use MiraLax daily for Pig. Can these two be used safely in conjunction with each other since they basically work the same way? Or do we forgo the MiraLax in favor of the Lactulose?

I would not unless specifically advised to by your vet. The one time I used lactulose when Shoes was really really constipated, it moved him quickly and gave him 2 days of runny poo. I was told to then stop the lactulose and go back to only the miralax.
