Used lantus pen?

i bought 2 pens from my vet.

Just went to start one of them and noticed the black thingie inside is lower on one than the other.

Doesn't that mean its been used already and not completely full?

I am so pissed.

Yep. There's a good 20 units missing, and it ain't cheap, especially since you are buying from the vet.

In the early days of FB, I got a vial from the vet. Wasn't until 2 days later when I went to use it that I saw the glass vial had cracks in it. Of course, it was 15 minutes before the vet closed on a Saturday. Mad drive. Mad bean. They replaced it. Found out next time we had an appointment that the vet had dropped the vial and didn't bother to check.
