? US: Brand Names of Freeze-dried Protein Treats and Where to Buy?

I've been buying from Chewy, and getting the Cat-Man-Doo/Life Essentials chicken treats (they're big, but break/crumble easily into cat-sized portions). Here's a link: https://www.chewy.com/cat-man-doo-life-essentials-chicken/dp/45664

I've also gotten PureBites brand in the past, but found that the quality was uneven (some pieces not completely cooked/dried and sort of sticky-- ewww!), so I only get those if I see them in person in a pet store and they look OK. I think you can get them in most brick-and-mortar pet stores. Another brand I buy often is Orijen-- their treats aren't single-ingredient, but they are all-meat and low-carb and get two enthusiastic paws up from my diabetic kitty. You can't get those on Chewy or in Petco/Petsmart type pet food stores that I've ever seen, they're more likely to be found in stores that specialize in "natural" foods.

I'm sure others will chime in with their faves, there are lots more types of freeze-dried treats available now than there were even a couple years ago, it's amazing how quickly these things catch on!

Ok, I just found this one: Cat-Man-Doo Life Essentials Chicken Freeze-Dried Cat & Dog Treats on Amazon - it'll be here on Saturday - thank goodness I don't have to go out tonight to try to find it.

We had chicken for dinner, so I cut up some little pieces of thigh meat for her and put a little broth on her food - but she only ate a few tiny bites of the chicken. And would not touch her food mixed with the warm broth. I'll leave it down for the night - sometimes she goes back and nibbles later - right now she's being a princess and turning up her nose at everything I offer.

Thank you for your recommendation of this treat. I sure hope it gets her interested in eating all her food...I've been throwing out so much canned cat food this week...but what else can I do with it? After it's been in her dish for hours, I think it's no good...and there's no way she's going to eat it. Hoping this will help. Tomorrow is BG check day. Hope it'll be down.

the other cats aren't too fond of these or any other healthy brands i have bought but, even though they all hate vital essentials treats, they do love their freeze-dried chicken & turkey mini patties when dry only so i break those up and use them as treats with them. https://www.chewy.com/vital-essentials-turkey-mini-patties/dp/152715
