Its the LEAST I can do

I use a small, no-name plastic ladle and stick it under one of my cat's butt. It would not work for all of my cats thought. I can tell when he is ready to urinate. I monitor his urine specific gravity and other urine parameters.

I wish I could do that, but he is very modest and will jump out of the box if I even peek my head in the laundry room while he’s in there. Thank you for the tip though. <3

I read here someone uses plastic wrap like Glad Wrap. But I dont think my cat would tolerate it in her box. She is such a creature of habit. ANYTHING out of the ordinary? She thinks is out to KILL her

Hi! I bought a small bag through Amazon, of a non absorbable litter. It's for collecting a sample of urine - includes a pipette, and vial with a stopper. I can't tell you how it actually worked because Tina peed right on the tile floor next to the box, and I collected from there
