When Squeaker was released from the clinic yesterday, I was instructed to give him 100 ml SQ daily. As of now he is still well hydrated and has not been drinking/urinating at the rate that he was. Is it safe/advisable for me to give the fluids under these circumstances? Will matters be complicated if I give him fluid if he doesn't need it?

If he's not dehydrated and eating well, etc, then call the vet and ask.

Do these 2 checks first, so you can report on them.
Moderate to severe dehydration test:
- does fur at the scruff of the neck stay tented, if pulled up and released?
Mild dehydration or more:
- press a finger onto gums and release; how many seconds before it pinks back up with blood again?

If there is no fluid pocket from the previous administration and the cat does not have a heart problem then I say it is OK to keep giving them but yo can ask the vet.

Thats great he is home. Is he on insulin now? If so, what and how much.?

What food is he getting? wet will help with hydration too.
