After taking clindadrops/the vet wanted to give him Clavamox but he got so sick last time/ the urin sample now shows just a few red blood cells /the vet said that it was normal/ and no more white cells. I am so happy about that.

Greylie has changed since the beginning of April and it makes me sad. He used to jump up on my bed in tghe morning and when I palyfully ignored him he started hitting my head with his paw. No we have to look for him since he does not even come back to the bedroom.

The vet also said that he is practically blind and I am now paying close attention. Yesterday he was walking along a row of dressers /on the floor/ up and down up and down about 10 times and he was clearly confused and did not know where he was. He is bumping into things but still knows how to get to his sister's food. He is 17 so I should not be surprised.... I just feel so sad for my sweet little guy. I just feel I want to cry.

I am sorry you are having a difficult time. I recently confirmed that Maui is also blind due to a genetic disease. She has adapted well, still bumps into things but for the most part gets around ok.

Give him time and keep things in the same place, this will help. Cats can adapt to their blindness and get along easily.

I had a blind kitty. She learned to deal with the blindness. She only got upset when she walked into a another one of my cats.

Thank you.. I think I just feel so bad for him. He does get around pretty well but does get disoriented sometimes. I think he does not feel as bad about it as I do.... I will just have to let him be and not watch him all the time.

Liz my heart goes out to you. At 17 he must be so set in his ways and that must be what is so distressing to you. I know it would be for me. Sending prayers for your little guy.
