Update on Callie

I took Callie today to the vet because of a possible UTI. During their examination, they discovered a mass under her skin by her vulva. The vet is not sure if it is due to the infection or a tumor. Right now she is treating the infection first since it is painful to the touch for Callie.

Keep her in your prayers that it is just due to the infection or if a tumor, it is benign. Callie will be on the antibiotics for a couple weeks before the vet decides if she needs to take a biopsy of the mass. She is my oldest cat and is about 14 1/2 years old.

Callie had a follow up visit with the vet on Monday. The UTI appears to be clearing up. Also the mass the vet found on her first visit appears to be shrinking. The vet is keeping her on antibiotics and we have a follow up appointment next week. At that time she will decide if she needs to do a biopsy on it. Keep the prayers coming . . . They are working.
